How to: write an account of a decade.

The eighties:

The eighties was a decade witch people remember for many reasons. There were good times and happy events such as music festivals. There were also difficult times, for instance the Cold War tensions increase between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Also the nuclear threat was more powerful than ever, as far as the mid is a rapprochement between the two groups.

In the world of music, there were a lot of pop artists in the charts for example, Huey Lewis, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Michael Jackson,Chicago and many others.

In the cinemas there were a lot of hits films, for example Superman I and II, “Volver al futuro”, Top Gun, La Venganza de los Nerds, “Despedida de Soltero”, Gremlins, Porky's, Arma Mortal I. Fashions were bright and interesting – it was the era of the pumps, haircut and style Punk.

By the end of the decade, the world was a different place. It's was the era of the revolutionary inventions, such as the videos in Beta and in VHS and CD. One of the most memorable events of the sixties took place in 1989, when the wall of Berlin was torn down. A lot of Germans were hopping this moment for her freedom.

A lot of people think that the eighties was unquestionably the best decade of the millennium and the best of the humanity.
